The tool WKT2MapInfo lets you convert a WKT feature stored in a text column to a MapInfo spatial object.
You basically open a table or select an already open table and then you specify a few things on how to present the objects.
You can add a thematic to the map after having converted the WKT string to a MapInfo spatial objekt.
The application expects the WKT string to be stored in a column called WKT, GEO or a column name specified in the configuration file.
You can create the spatial object from the WKT string in the MapInfo table or for tables with larger features, the application do a look up in the database via the ID and extract the full WKT string (up tp approximately 32,000 characters) for creating the spatial object.
You can find the source code for this tool on github: mbWKT2MapInfo
